My understanding of missions began in school through CRE and history lessons about how Christianity came to Africa. At that time, I thought missions simply meant preaching in church or holding crusades.<\/p>

Today, my understanding has completely changed.<\/p>

I now see missions as participating in God\u2019s work, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and living it out daily. Missions is not our work for God; it is God\u2019s work that we are invited into.<\/p>

I also came to realize that many people, even those who grow up in Christian environments, have different or incomplete understandings of the gospel. I was once part of that group.<\/p>

Personally, God has transformed me. I used to rely heavily on my own strength and plans. I believed I could build the best life for myself. But through missions, I have learned to rest in God\u2019s guidance and trust His plan.<\/p>

One testimony that stands out involves a colleague who attended our weekday morning devotions simply because attendance was required. He never participated and always sat in the back. One day, he asked why we had Bible study sessions in addition to devotions. Coming from a Catholic background, he believed Bible teaching was something only priests could do. He thought only clergy could truly understand Scripture.<\/p>

I explained that Bible study involves everyone reading and sharing what they learn from the text. He became curious, bought his own Bible, and began reading. When he did not feel the \u201csupernatural
energy\u201d he expected, I continued encouraging him to remain consistent.<\/p>

Moments like these have shown me that God is quietly building His Church in places we may never expect. I am grateful that He allows me to be part of what He is doing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
