Aluma Godfrey, and I am a second-year missionary intern. I served in Boroboro, Lira, during my first year and now I serve among the Matheniko Karamojong in Moroto.<\/p><p>When I first heard about GLA, I thought I was applying for a job. But after attending the trainings, I was convicted by Scripture and realized God was calling me to missions.<\/p><p>At first, I feared serving in Lira. I am an Aringa from Yumbe, and my tribe had a history of conflict with the Langi. I worried I would not be accepted. To my surprise, I was welcomed with open arms; my workmates even share a testimony of reconciliation efforts led by the Bishop of Lango Diocese and local leaders.<\/p><p>In Boroboro, I worked in the laboratory at the health center, joined youth fellowships, supported HIV patients, and even played sports with young people. He could have used angels, but instead He allowed me to take part in His mission.
