Samuel Baker currently serves as the Executive Director of Global Link Afrika (GLA) and he is also an ordained minister of the Diocese of Lango where he is involved in Church ministry. He holds both Master of Divinity and Master of Organizational Leadership and Management from Uganda Christian University; he attained his first degree in Economics from Makerere University. His journey of Christian ministry started in 2008 when he responded to God’s call to serve with FOCUS Uganda (an IFES movement in Uganda) as the Training Secretary for West Nile Region. He is also the Board Chair of Nurses and Midwife Christian Fellowship Uganda, Board Treasure of Community First (CoFi) and since 2016, he has been the Ugandan Coordinator for Lausanne Younger Leaders Generation (YLGen).

Samuel Baker is passionate about holistic mission, discipleship and missional leadership with a desire to see the Church in Africa empowered to serve as a sending Church for global mission. Samuel Baker is married to Cindy Okullo, a Public health worker and God blessed them with two children (twins) after 7 years of waiting upon God in marriage.
